IMAAM Madrasah Sunday School

Our comprehensive Islamic education services aim to provide an enriching Islamic educational experience for Kindergarten to High School students (ages 5 to 18) through Quran class and Islamic Knowledge class based on the principles of Sunni teachings. IMAAM Madrasah is led by Principal Ms. Ina Nasution. The Curriculum is supervised by our imam, Ustadz Fawwaz Amani. It is thoughtfully designed to nurture the Islamic education and spiritual growth of students.

Our Quran class program accommodates students of varying proficiency levels, offering beginner, intermediate, advanced, and memorization. We utilize various teaching methods, including the Iqra method for beginners, the Mushaf method for intermediates, and the Baligho method for advanced learners. To ensure effective and engaging learning experiences, the program is tailored to match the individual Quran reading abilities of the students.

Our Islamic Knowledge class program focuses on guiding students in understanding the basic principles of Islam, exploring the history of the Prophets, cultivating Islamic conduct and behavior, and fostering unity and social engagement within the Muslim community. Our dedicated teachers emphasize the significance of obligatory daily prayer (Salah), enabling students to learn and practice the prayer (Salah) accordingly. Additionally, we encourage students to delve into the essential supplications (Duas), and memorize Juz 30 of the Quran.

Join the Madrasah Team!

When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Sahih Muslim)

At IMAAM Madrasah, every lesson taught and every child learning Qur’an and Islamic knowledge is an act of Ṣadaqah Jāriyah. The rewards continue as long as the knowledge is practiced and passed on.

We are also looking for volunteers who would like to dedicate themselves to the betterment of the Madrasah — from giving critical input to actively contributing their expertise and experience in administration, programs, logistics and security.

May Allah accept this effort from our teachers, parents, and students, and make it a source of barakah for generations to come.
