Our Mosque

A place to find peace and tranquility

Our motto is “Salam and Smile.” We believe in cultivating an atmosphere of peace, harmony, and joy. By following this code of conduct, we aim to uphold the values of respect, unity, and spiritual growth. We kindly request everyone to adhere to the following guidelines:

Respectful Behavior:

  • Treat fellow worshipers, staff, and visitors with kindness, courtesy, and respect.
  • Refrain from engaging in any form of discrimination, harassment, or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, age, or any other characteristic
  • Respect and support the mosque’s leadership and volunteers who work tirelessly to maintain the mosque’s services.

Attire and Hygiene:

For Men:

  1. Upper Body: Men should wear shirts that cover their shoulders fully. It's preferred for shirts to be long-sleeved, but short sleeves are generally acceptable as long as they're not too short.

  2. Lower Body: Men should wear long trousers that cover the entire leg. These trousers should not be tight or transparent. Shorts, especially those above the knees, are discouraged in the main prayer room.

For Women:

  1. Headscarf (Hijab): expected to cover their hair with a scarf or shawl known as a hijab.

  2. Upper Body: Women should wear tops that are not tight-fitting and that cover their arms fully. The top should ideally also cover the hips.

  3. Lower Body: Long skirts or trousers that cover the entire leg are essential, the clothing should not be too tight or transparent.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by being mindful of personal grooming, including proper bathing and use of unscented products.
  • Remove shoes before entering the clean areas, main prayer room and place them in designated areas.

Silence and Reverence:

  • Observe silence and maintain a peaceful atmosphere during prayer times.
  • Silence all mobile devices and avoid unnecessary conversations or disruptions within the mosque premises.
  • Show respect towards fellow worshipers.

Children and Family:

  • Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times while within the mosque premises.
  • Utilize a kid’s room to minimize disturbances during events and parents or guardians should be aware that they play at their own risk.
  • Teach children about the importance of respect and proper behavior within the mosque premises.

Financial Contributions:

  • Ensure that financial donations are made through authorized channels and follow the established guidelines of the mosque.

Safety and Security:

  • Comply with all safety and security regulations outlined by the mosque’s administration.
  • Report any suspicious activities, threats, or concerns to the designated mosque authorities or local law enforcement.
  • Maintain awareness of emergency evacuation procedures and follow instructions in case of emergencies.
  • Avoid leaving personal belongings unattended within the mosque premises to prevent loss or confusion. Unattended bags or belongings subject to be removed or without permission.

Cleanness & Environmental Responsibility:

  • Food and drinks are not allowed inside the main prayer room.
  • Differentiate between trash and recyclable plastic bottles by using separate bins provided within the mosque premises.
  • Dispose of plastic bottles and other recyclable materials in the designated recycling bins, promoting environmental sustainability.

Personal belongings & Items Donations:

  • Guns, knife and any lethal weapons are not allowed at all time inside premises except for the authorities
  • If you wish to donate items, such as clothing or books, please coordinate with the mosque’s administration to ensure they are properly collected and distributed.

No Solicitation:

  • Refrain from soliciting or promoting any commercial or non-commercial activities within the mosque premises without prior authorization from the mosque’s administration.
  • Maintain a respectful environment by avoiding unsolicited sales, distribution of materials, or promotion of personal services.

Multipurpose Room Usage:

  • After using the multipurpose room, kindly clean up the area and ensure it is tidy.
  • Remove any trash or personal belongings from the room and dispose of them properly.
  • Pay special attention to spills and stains, particularly avoiding food or water spills on the floor. If any spills occur, please clean them promptly to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Pantry Usage:

  • For private events and gatherings, please bring your own utensils, plates, cups, and other necessary pantry equipment.
  • The IMAAM Center will not provide any utensils or water bottles for private events.
  • Kindly ensure that you clean up after using the pantry area and dispose of waste appropriately.

Our masjid is open for daily prayers.

  • Thursday: Closed
  • Friday: 1pm to 3pm
  • Saturday: 1pm to 4pm
  • Sunday: Closed
